Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of an Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently in German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to her Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent with both of the languages. In her early teens Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which led to a German television show. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. Following her graduation at New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree from St. John's University. In her high school years, she took classes in acting at HB however she opted to improvise classes at Groundlings School. She then took on several comedy roles. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mom Olga. At the age of 13, parents separated. Her father moved the family members to East Meadow New York. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
